Nick Davies

Nick thrives when talking to clients about their future aspirations. Subsequently mapping out their financial plan provides them with security and freedom to focus on what is important to them. Nick’s family is important to him. He lives just outside Bristol with his wife, two children and two chickens. He volunteers for a small, local group which raises funds for charities contributing tens of thousands each year to local charities.

Nick is committed to understanding his clients. Using a coaching style, he devotes time listening to clients to understand their personal goals and aspirations. He has worked for a variety of highly reputable financial firms such as Standard Life and Hargreaves Lansdown and was previously a Director at a large regional law firm. More recently he has enjoyed developing his knowledge in the provision of advice for those working within Higher Education. Many of Nick’s clients are business owners, academics and retirees.

Nick runs half-day retirement seminars for staff at The University of Bristol, at which he provides tailored advice on financial planning in the run up to, during, or in retirement.

During his career Nick has achieved a wealth of qualifications including Chartered Financial Planner, STEP certificate (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) & AF3- Pension Planning, undergraduate degree: BA (Hons) in Business Operations Management and enjoys continuing to learn and develop his specialist knowledge as well as his understanding of his clients’ motivations and needs.
